Roll six dice and tap the scoring dice you want to keep: 1s, 5s, three or more of a kind, a 1–6 straight or three pairs. You must keep at least one scoring die each roll. Then either bank your turn total and pass the dice, or roll the remaining dice to add more. If a roll has nothing that scores, that's a farkle and you lose every point from the turn. The first player to reach the target starts the final round, and everyone else gets one last turn to beat them.

Single 1 = 100, single 5 = 50. Three 1s = 1,000; three of any other number = 100 × the number. Four, five or six of a kind = 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000. A 1–6 straight or three pairs (four of a kind plus a pair counts) = 1,500. Combinations only count within one roll. Tap the list icon in the game to see the full scoring guide at any time.

If every one of your six dice has scored during a turn, you get all six back and can roll them again, keeping your turn total. Keep going, or bank.

Every die you pick has to be part of a scoring combination. If you pick a die that doesn't score, the game shows it in red and waits for you to put it back. Tap Pick scoring to select every scoring die automatically.

On the menu, add up to six players and set each one to a person or the computer. Then pass the iPhone or iPad to whoever's turn it is. The scoreboard at the top highlights the current player.

Easy keeps every scoring die and banks when it feels lucky. Normal follows the classic table rules of thumb. Hard calculates the exact odds of every roll and plays the move worth the most points, and it chases the leader in the final round. Turn on Quick Computer in Settings to make its turns faster.

No. Farkle saves after every roll. Open the app again and tap Resume game on the menu.

Open Settings (the gear icon) and switch off Sound or Haptics. Sounds also follow your device's Ring/Silent switch.
